Deviflex™ Heating Cables

Deviflex™ DSOT-34 Heating Cable

Deviflex™ DSOT-34 Heating Cable

The DSOT-34 has been designed for installation into concrete slabs and is most suited to Off-Peak Storage Heating Systems.
Maximum Cable Load: 34 W/m

Deviflex™ DSIG-19 Heating Cable

Deviflex™ DSIG-19 Heating Cable

The DSIG-19 is designed for in screed or floor topping installations, where the screed is 20-25mm thick.
Maximum Cable Load: 19 W/m

Deviflex™ DSIG-15 Heating Cable Deviflex™ DSIG-15 Heating Cable

The DSIG-15 is designed for in screed or floor topping installations. where the screed is at least 15mm thick. (Best suited for bathrooms)
Maximum Cable Load: 15 W/m

Deviflex™ DSIG-10 Heating Cable Deviflex™ DSIG-10 Heating Cable

The DSIG-10 is designed for in screed or floor topping systems as well as under timber floors and soil warming installations.
Maximum Cable Load: 10 W/m

Deviflex™ DTIE Heating Cable (Low EMF) Deviflex™ DTIE Heating Cable
LOW EMF

Twin conductor heating cable for direct, off peak or background floor heating systems. Also for ice and snow melting and agricultural applications.

Deviflex™ DSIZ - Bulk Heating Cables

Silicon cables are extremely flexible and thus very well suited to installations in areas with very high or very low temperatures.
Maximum Cable Load: 40 W/m

DEVI iceguard, pipe-guard and hot-watt self-limiting cables

These are used for frost protection of pipes, heating of hot water supplies and to prevent icing of down pipes.

Deviflex™ DSIA Heating Cables

The DSIA cables have been designed for the ice and snow protection of roadways and walkways.

Choosing the most suitable Deviflex™ cable

Use the tables below to help you plan your Electric Heating System. It is important to establish which cable type your installation requires; considering the desired heat output, the floor construction and the size of the area to be heated.

STEP ONE:
Establish the amount of heat required to heat the area (also called the heat load).

STEP TWO:
Evaluate the floor construction. Then, based on the load required, the floor construction and the maximum load that the different cable types emit, select the most suitable Deviflex™ electric heating cable system.

STEP 3:
Using the size of the area to be heated and the cable type, calculate the required cable spacing using either the Cable Length or the Area Loading:

(see the floor heating installation instructions)
