Choosing the most suitable Deviflex™ cable
Use the tables below to help you plan your Electric Heating System. It is important to establish which cable type your installation requires; considering the desired heat output, the floor construction and the size of the area to be heated.
STEP ONE:
Establish the amount of heat required to heat the area (also called the heat load).
STEP TWO:
Evaluate the floor construction. Then, based on the load required, the floor construction and the maximum load that the different cable types emit, select the most suitable Deviflex™ electric heating cable system.
STEP 3:
Using the size of the area to be heated and the cable type, calculate the required cable spacing using either the Cable Length or the Area Loading:
